The jacket has an inner wind flap and waterproof zippers to keep snow, wind, and water out.

The jacket has reflectors on the sleeves, back, and hood, as well as two star reflectors on the sleeves, to increase visibility in traffic.

The sleeves have an elastic edge that effectively keeps wind, snow, and rain out while ensuring that the gloves stay in place.

The jacket is lined with fleece and 3M™ Thinsulate™, which provides the child with greater mobility due to its lightweight.
